A Little Slap for Your Tickle?Public transit is a virtual peep show of exhibitionism and often a reflection of a city's inner self. Some scenes are seemingly amusing, others disturbing, and a few particularly R-rated. Find yourself on a train late at night and you'll think Spring is in the air even in the dead of Winter. We're talking about PDA, not the digital kind, but the old-fashioned birds and the bees version. Subtle forms of affection such as holding hands, an arm around the shoulder or a quick kiss hello or goodbye are romantic gestures these Muni Ladies can appreciate. After all, who doesn't love a couple in love? But we gently draw the line with make-out mambo sessions fit for a sordid, room-by-the-hour tryst. Whether you get caught up in the moment or simply enjoy being seen by reluctant voyeurs, your awkward groping and spit swapping is in poor taste and makes those around you feel uncomfortable. The next time you're overcome with passion, don't get busted by the PDA police. Just remember, abstinence makes the heart grow fonder.

Wow, if you had seen the bus action last night. R-rate? hmpf. I'd be surprised if they got an x-rating.
Of course, I whipped the ole' laptop out and carried on with my sphere of influence. At one point they did settle down, after a rather burly fella asked them to cut it out.
Perfect timing though, I honestly don't see that many people get out of sorts with their sexin' on public transit.
:) Thanks for the picture credit.
I like this rule. A lot.
There's nothing like sitting across from a pair of 13 year olds sucking each other's little faces off... except NOT watching them do that.
So yes, I am in favor of saving the affection for later. Like when you get OFF the bus.
Amen, sisters! I am horribly allergic to public displays of affection. And especially on the bus, where germs roam free? Noooo thank you!
Just mutter 'GET A ROOM' and then take
a picture with your cell phone and say you are posting
it on YOUTUBE for everyone to see.
